The SkeenaWild Film & Photo Festival will return for its 13th year and the Kitimat General Hospital Foundation is thrilled to host the Kitimat Tour for the second year!
Last year saw significant growth in the festival, with a record number of submissions across all categories and many sold-out screenings. SkeenaWild hosted two screenings in Terrace, and our community partners hosted individual screenings in Kitimat, Smithers, Haida Gwaii and Prince Rupert.
Come be a part of a fun community initiative to inspire and showcase the beauty of the Skeena Watershed.
We are excited to share that the Kitimat General Hospital Foundation is currently fundraising for an essential piece of equipment for our Emergency Room: the LUCAS Chest Compression System. This innovative technology acts as a second set of hands for our healthcare professionals, providing consistent and effective chest compressions during CPR. With this lifesaving device, we can enhance patient care and improve survival rates for those most critical patients.
Support Our Mission at the SWFF Event!
This year, the Kitimat Tour Skeena Wild Film and Photo Festival is dedicated to supporting this critical initiative. Join us for an exciting community event as we raise funds to bring the LUCAS system to Kitimat General Hospital.
